zahori

Extract media stream URLs from any web page by automating browser interactions to capture HLS, DASH, and video requests without manual configuration.

Caution. Specific findings reduced this grade. They are listed on the page. Grades reflect the full trust pyramid: code, verification depth, and reputation. New projects cap at C until adoption is earned.

Known vulnerabilities in dependencies: 2 critical, 1 high
Affects packages this MCP installs at runtime. Upgrade or remove the affected dependency.

You'll be asked for 3 credentials: ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, OPENAI_API_KEY, OPENAI_COMPATIBLE_API_KEY
These are read from process.env at runtime. Make sure you trust where they’ll be sent.

zahori_get

Resolve the media stream behind a page URL using saved profiles or the built-in generic flow. Returns the stream URL, kind, live/VOD, and replay headers.

zahori_probe

Open a page and gather everything needed to author a profile: media requests seen, iframes, play/consent elements, and whether the generic flow already works. Use this before proposing a profile for a new site.

zahori_test_profile

Run a candidate profile against a URL and grade the result with the oracle. ok=true only when a stream was captured AND the oracle confirms it is real media. Iterate on the profile until this passes.

zahori_save_profile

Persist a profile so later runs are instant and free. Saves to the project (.zahori/profiles, committable) by default so it travels to production and teammates.

zahori_validate

Run the oracle on a resolved stream (url + headers) to check it is real media (decodes, has real audio, plausible length).

zahori_list_profiles

List the profiles saved on this machine and in the current project.

Dependencies

8 runtime dependencies (4 dev), 1 flagged: playwright

Tool annotations

No tools have read-only/destructive annotations

Add readOnlyHint or destructiveHint annotations to every tool so hosts can warn users before invoking.

All four hints declared on every tool

6/6 tools missing one or more hints — zahori_get (missing: readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); zahori_probe (missing: readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); zahori_test_profile (missing: readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint), +3 more. OpenAI's directory rejects tools where any of the four hints are missing or non-boolean.

For every tool, set all four hints (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint) to explicit true/false values that match the handler’s actual behaviour.

Production dependencies are patched

0 critical, 1 high severity in production deps — playwright@1.49.0 (high)

Run npm audit fix, or upgrade the affected packages to a non-vulnerable version.

Dev dependencies

2 critical/high in dev-only deps (does not ship to users)

Upgrade dev dependencies when convenient.

// full audit trail
The findings above are the summary. The full trail, every check we ran, each deduction, the network hosts observed and the dependency advisories, goes to verified publishers, along with an alert whenever a new one lands. Verified publishers can also review each finding and dispute it in one click. Publisher corrections have sharpened several of our checks this month, because the maintainer knows the codebase better than any scanner.
// improvement guidance — verified publishers only
We have 4 concrete improvements we can share with the publisher of this MCP. Each comes with specific guidance to raise the trust score.
